Introduction
TCI tricone bit, full name Tungsten Carbide Insert Tricone Bit.
It is one main type of rotary tricone drill bit. Hard tungsten carbide inserts are pressed into pre-machined holes on three cones. While drilling, the carbide inserts impact, crush and shear rock formations.
IADC 737 is a heavy-duty TCI (Tungsten Carbide Insert) tricone bit.
It adopts dense spherical tungsten carbide inserts pressed into cones. Under weight-on-bit and rotation, inserts continuously impact, crush hard rock. Equipped with sealed journal bearing system for long service life under high WOB.
Manufactured strictly in accordance with API Spec 7-1, standard API REG thread connections.
Spherical tungsten carbide inserts
Short, densely arranged spherical buttons, strong anti-chipping performance, resist heavy impact and abrasion.
Sealed journal bearing
Pressure-balanced seal system, stable lubrication, suitable for high weight-on-bit drilling.
Enhanced gauge protection
Extra gauge inserts & shirttail hardfacing, maintain hole diameter and prevent undergauge.
Optimized hydraulic design
Multi-nozzle configuration to clean cuttings efficiently and cool cones.
Wide size availability
Covers common sizes: 6", 6½", 7⅞", 8½", 9⅝", 9⅞", 12¼",14 3/4'' ,15 1/2'', 16 1/2'', 17 1/2'', 20'' ,22'' etc.
