Engineered for high-speed drilling in soft to medium formations, this China-supplied drag bit features 6 PDC cutter-equipped blades in a parabolic profile, achieving up to 30m/hour ROP in shale and limestone. The low-profile design (150mm height) reduces torque in horizontal wells, while dual-jet nozzles optimize cuttings evacuation. Compatible with both WBM and OBM, it’s ideal for shale gas lateral drilling, pipeline trenching, and geothermal well development.

Product Overview


The 12 1/4'' (311.1mm) Drag Bit Blade Bit is designed for high-speed drilling in soft to medium formations, featuring 6 forged alloy steel blades with PDC cutters (16mm diameter) arranged in a parabolic profile. The bit body (4130 alloy steel, HRC 40-45) incorporates a central fluid channel and 4 lateral nozzles (18mm diameter), enabling maximum hydraulic horsepower transfer. Its low-profile design (150mm height) reduces torque and drag in horizontal wells, with a WOB rating of 150kN and optimal RPM range of 400-600. The parabolic blade profile minimizes drag in tight hole conditions, supported by a balanced mass distribution (G1.0 dynamic balance).
